On Wednesday, September 13th, a delegation from CLAAI Assimprese, the category association of artisan businesses, SMEs, and services, met with the Councilor for Business Activities of the Municipality of Latina, Antonio Cosentino.
The CLAAI delegation consisted of entrepreneurs Simona Loffredo, Clemente Catalani, and Roberto Stabellini from the board of directors, with the CLAAI Director, Ivan Simeone.
The CLAAI presented Councilor Cosentino with a brief “reflection” on some of the priorities for our city in terms of business activities, requesting the urgent establishment of a permanent working commission/table composed of the category associations signatory to the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for commerce, crafts, and local small businesses.
Commercial Plan and analysis of the situation of artisan businesses, revaluation of ancient crafts as opportunities for new employment, problem of the city center, and attention to the economic development of our neighborhoods and villages in Latina, a revision of local taxation as support initiatives for new enterprises and startups such as microcredit, as well as forms of support for self-entrepreneurship, are some of the issues discussed in a cooperative and proactive spirit.
The CLAAI Assimprese has noted the willingness of Councilor Antonio Cosentino to engage in proactive interaction to support the development of our territory. A positive and informative first meeting.
